By applying machine-learning techniques to help salespeople guide their sales cycle, Basho’s prediction models make forecasting less about finding out “the numbers” and more about how to make these numbers bigger. And, by using Erlang and REST to make our system more robust and interoperable, we do this without increasing operational expenses.
