Overview

Basho Technologies is seeking an experienced, passionate and aggressive sales professional to drive the sales of our software and professional service offerings. The Account Director will be responsible for driving new bookings with Fortune 1,000 companies and growing our business with existing customers. He or she will report directly to the SVP of Sales & Delivery. As a Basho Account Director your responsibilities will include:

Function

  • Target and close new bookings from assigned territory of Fortune 1,000 companies - driving all aspects and stages of the sale.
  • Sell primarily to senior sales leadership (SVP/VP/Dir of Sales)
  • Become fluent in Basho's full suite of product offerings.
  • Provide accurate and timely bookings forecasts to management on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and execute on territory and account plans that position Basho as a strategic resource to our clients.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience with expertise in enterprise software and professional services.
  • Proven record of consistent, predictable over-performance.
  • Passion for driving new business - "hunter" mentality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Process-focused and organize.
  • B.S./B.A. with a strong GPA.
  • Self-confidence and a willingness to learn and try new selling techniques.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Ambitious, competitive, aggressive and passionate to succeed.
